This album plays like a gritty Indy movie that you started watching thinking it was just another gritty Indy movie, but then it turns out it's a fantastic piece of storytelling art that you haven't seen the likes of in a long time. Pure earcandy, laced with angsty overtones and deep pits of emotions. Favorite track: (It's Not Better Than The) Drugs.

Steve Rodger This is fucking excellent, I caught the band on youtube and I immediately liked the cut of their jib so headed back here to get this. The Worship of Silence has been in existence for a staggering 16 years, having formed in 2001. In the Early Hours is their first official full-length release, featuring three massive tracks of heavy melodic doom.

Hutton has a vocal presence and range that is rarely seen in metal.

With The Worship of Silence, Hutton is freed from traditional rock structure to slowly saturate these well-crafted, winding songs- with lyrics that are both introspective and scathing.
